There is a right time

Fall brings many changes. Grass grows dormant. The flowers that decorate our properties change. Leaves turn color and cover the ground as they fall. The Garden Club will have its last meeting in September. We will gather and celebrate the many good things we have accomplished in our 30 year run as the lakes steward of all things green and growing. We planted trees in memories of loved ones. We established gardens both decorative and functional. We raised money for our community and used that money to support local and county causes. We are fortunate to still have founding member ,Audrey Birtchman, with us and she will be a part of our celebration. It remains to be seen as to whether meetings will resume in the spring. I am signing off now. It’s been a privilege and a pleasure to be a part of this group and to write this blog. Hopefully some like minded person(s) will pick up where the club has left off.
