Heritage Lake Book Club

With flutes of champagne in hand, we celebrated the renovation of The Masterpiece’s Grand Central Terminal in New York. Told in a dual timeline, Fiona Davis’s novel had a historical backdrop with an appearance of Jackie Onassis who tried to save GCT. This piece of fiction was based on real events and told through the lives of two strong women. We all agreed that GCT, even though it was a building, made for a third main character. We rated the novel 3.5.  Book club will discuss These Silent Woods by Kimmi Cunningham Grant on September 10, 2025, at 1:30 P.M.
