In the Deep Mid-Winter...

....plant a winter garden. Bulbs, such as these shown here (hyacynth) can be bought as soon as they show up in the stores and placed in your refrigerator. Leave them there from late August until late November and then plant in the container of your choice. A window full of fragrant, colorful blooms will brighten any winter's day.

The Garden Club is on hiatus until March. Meetings will begin on March 13 at the clubhouse at 9:30 am. We will decide what our year will look like at that meeting. Please join us for adventures and lunch.
