The Garden Club would like to wish all A Happy Holiday Season. Our last meeting of the year will celebrate the clubs years of dedication to this community . Given a Charter in 1991 with a group of friends led by Audrey Birtchman, the club has continued to serve by providing plants, trees and flowers in various locations throughout Heritage Lake. Our extensive collection of articles on gardening can be found in the clubhouse library. The clubhouse entry shows a map of the Memory Garden located on the clubhouse grounds. Our original charter is framed and hung in the main hallway. The cedar bench and glider were donated by and have been maintained by the Garden Club. The club will also donate a 4 foot bench made from recycled plastics. The plastic materials were collected over a 2 year period of time and will be processed by a company that specializes in producing recycled plastic products.
As we wind down our activities, we are no less dedicated to our committment to keep Heritage Lake beautiful. We will remain an active club, welcoming anyone who cares to join us. We will be on hiatus January and February and will resume our field trips followed by fellowship in March, 2025. We would love to see you.
