GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN

ree

The Garden Club has decided to restructure our format. As of January, 2025, the club won't have a board or a treasury. Our focus will be one of social interaction with field trips followed by lunch together where we will share garden wisdom and effort. Our members will continue to maintain flowers boxes, marina and clubhouse landscaping and the pollinator garden. So what changes? We won't be involved in fundraisers, new projects or heavy lifting.

In May, we visited Avon Gardens. Please put this lovely place on your bucket list. We had lunch at Opa's! A Greek American Restaurant and enjoyed saganaki and gyros among other delicious ethnic food. In June, we will meet at the clubhouse and carpool to The Hobbit. This 30 acre property has woods, ravines, pastures and herb gardens. Maintained by Constance Ferry, there is a website one may Google for more information. After our exploration there, we will go to Bob and Betty's Cafe in Filmore for lunch. If you join us and we hope you do, bring cash as the cafe does not accept credit cards. This event is Thursday, June 13th, 9:30am.
