Many of us use Valey Forge Dr. (exit 2 from Heritage Dr) to exit the lake to the north. I'm fairly certain it was designed as a 3 way stop to give vehicles cresting the hill, particularly with a trailer in tow, the right of way so they don't have to stop on the fairly steep hill approaching the intersection.
North and Southbound traffic often have an obstructed view of the traffic on the hill (who have right of way), due to roadside vegetation.
There have been many reports of near misses at this intersection.
The Campgrounds on CR500, west of the intersection, are now open, so seasonal traffic, including Golf Carts and other recreational vehicles, has increased.
